The Moxie Shawl is beautiful and an easy crochet accessory for you to make. The shawl is worked side to side with the edging completed as you stitch the body . The result is a delicate, asymmetrical triangular-shaped shawl. Designed with lace weight yarn (1), this shawl has been stitched in all weights up to and including worsted (4).

One size fits most. Before blocking, 65” wingspan, 25”at widest point. After blocking, 72” wingspan, 26” at widest point.

Cascade Yarns, Alpaca Lace or equivalent (super fine-1), 100% Baby Alpaca color-Peach Heather #1436 1.75oz/50g, 437yd/400m per hanks2 Skeins, estimated total yarn 2.8 oz/80g 700yd/640m
E (3.5 mm) Hook or size needed to obtain correct gauge
Stitch markers, yarn needle, blocking materials

NOTES:

Pattern is written using standard US stitches. Easy+ skill level.

GAUGE:

27 stitches and 14 rows = 4 inches in double crochet (US), but gauge is not critical. If your gauge is close to stated gauge, then your finished shawl will be close to stated finished size.
