Charmed Shawl: Beautiful Blocks of Color Finished with a Delicate Eyelet Edging

This lovely shawl can be worn traditionally or wrapped as a scarf.  Either way is beautiful.  The pattern is written for sport weight yarn but feel free to use whatever yarn you like.  Worsted weight yarn will yield a slightly larger wrap while sock yarn or lace weight will produce a beautiful shawlette.
Before blocking: 75”/191 cm wingspan, 13½”/34 cm at widest point.
After blocking: 93”/236 cm wingspan, 15½”/39 cm at widest point.

  (fine-2) 50% Merino Wool 50% Bamboo, 131 yards/50 grams per ball
  Color A-1 ball Pearl #26103 estimated total 126 yards/48 grams

GAUGE:

Exact gauge is not essential.  If your gauge is close to stated gauge, your finished shawl will be close to the reported measurements.
3”/7½ cm = 13 traditional dc, 8 rows with smaller hook.
3”/7½ cm = 13 traditional sc, 16 rows with larger hook.
